What makes this a performing campaign?

Email campaigns from the Property and Real Estate industry are not particularly known for being exciting or modern, often favouring a simpler style. Minto Communities Canada, a leading home builder in the Greater Toronto Area went one step further.

Moving away from the typical property and real estate industry emails, Minto Communities Canada designed a fully-branded, modern email campaign. The banner image, a tartan pattern design, is in line with the name of the community (in Scotland a ‘glen’ is a ‘narrow valley’).

However, what really differentiates this campaign is the balance between image and text, the readable copy, the colour scheme and the strong visuals. This campaign has a well thought through messaging structure where the details, benefits and incentives included are clear but not overwhelming. Additionally, the call to action (CTA) button is clear and well placed.

The results

This campaign has seen huge engagement with a 38% open rate. The mobile-friendly designed email has also seen a 3% uplift in click-through-open rates (CTOR) compared to previous campaigns of the same nature.
