Leading Email Service Provider Adestra announces it has joined the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) as its new strategic email marketing partner.

Adestra will provide email help and advice to PPA members to combat key issues facing modern publishers – including deliverability, automation, relevance, customer engagement, sender reputation and social media integration.

Email marketing is such a key channel for publishers, often the primary route to communicating with their readership, it is critical to get right for long term engagement, boosting subscription levels, and loyalty. Focusing on best practice principles, for both acquisition and retention programmes, is essential.

Henry Hyder-Smith explains: “We are delighted to be working with the PPA and their valued members, helping them deliver even more effective communications. Even spending time on the basics can reap big rewards, and then more sophisticated email marketing techniques can be employed to automate email marketing and improve email relevance.”

“One of the most topical questions we are being asked by publishers is how to develop and design effective email campaigns for iPads and handheld devices, and there are a number of simple ways to achieve this.”
Barry McIlheney, PPA chief executive, added: “We are very pleased that Adestra has joined us as a Strategic Partner. Employing good practice email marketing principles means better response, improved ROI and improved relevance for readers, as well as legislative compliance.”

Adestra is already working with major publishers such as Haymarket, Informa, Jane’s, Dennis Publishing, Incisive Media and Oxford University Press. Focused on delivering results for customers, Adestra provides everything from a strategic review of their complete marketing operation to simple broadcast assistance. The company helps brands optimise processes, boost revenues, and maximise ROI.
