We’re looking for a Technical Author to lead the creation and progression of our extensive platform user documentation at our Head Office in Oxford.
Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will oversee production, maintenance and promotion of our platform documentation and ensure our customers can get the most out of our evolving email marketing software. Due to the technical nature of our product, part of your role will be to translate technical information clearly and concisely for our user base of email marketers.
Working in an agile environment, you will be a key member of the development team, as well as liaising with the rest of the business to understand requirements and gather feedback. You’ll look to move the documentation forward as an easy to understand single source of truth for internal staff and customers.
An integral part of this role will be to help the Product Management team communicate new deployments to key stakeholders, our global support teams and our Marketing department. You will also be analytical, looking for new ways to better translate the complexities and power of our platform by looking at usage data and using industry best practice.
The right person for this role will have excellent technical writing skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the business as well as our customers. You will be technology literate with copywriting, documentation or journalism experience under your belt, preferably gained in a software as a service environment. You will be excellent at managing your time and meeting deadlines, writing and updating our documentation in line with new platform releases.
