Are you an experienced SaaS Sales professional with a passion for managing and mentoring a successful team?

We are looking for a Business Development Team Manager to lead a team of Business Development and Sales Executives, based in our London office.

In this hands on player-coach role, you will develop the potential and capability of the Business Development team through coaching and mentoring, holding regular team meetings to review progress and plan future activity. Specifically, you will develop and implement a contact strategy for all target sectors, enabling consistency and guidance for the team. You will work in close collaboration with the Head of Sales EMEA, providing commercial information, feedback and regular team updates.

You will also research, plan and engage both self-generated prospects and marketing leads with Adestra’s value propositions and drive your team to do the same, following the Adestra sales process and using Salesforce to provide accurate reports of activity. You will also attend and coordinate the team’s engagement in external events such as Technology for Marketing to represent Adestra.

The right person for this role will be an excellent people manager and role model; highly self-motivated and driven, tenacious, competitive and target orientated. You’ll have proven experience of successfully leading a business development team in a SaaS environment, managing for performance and supporting team development. You will also demonstrate recent sales experience of digital marketing software including email (preferred), marketing automation, CRM, social, mobile, or other digital marketing technology in order to confidently sell our email marketing platform.
