Tonight, myself along with my brilliant team, attended the Customer Service Institute for Australia’s (CSIA) annual Australian Service Excellence Awards (ASEAs) at the Westin hotel in Sydney. We were there as we were selected as finalists in the Customer Service Team of the Year – Medium Businesses category. The great news is that WE WON and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

The gala dinner event brought a crowd of more than 600 guests from some of Australia’s largest organisations, all there to honour the “industry’s best and brightest”, according to the CSIA.

“The calibre of entries this year was truly outstanding, and we are proud to acknowledge the achievements of the winning organisations and individuals who demonstrate innovation and best practice in the field. They are at the forefront of service excellence and absolutely leading the charge,” said Anouche Newman, chief executive of the CSIA.

Receiving tonight’s ASEA and being selected as the winner out of a group of fantastic companies is a true honour for Adestra. What it means for us, for our employees and for our clients is more than just another award added to our list, it is recognition. After all, it is one thing to say that we have the best customer service in the business, it is another to be recognised for it.

In today’s crowded MarTech space, it is essential that clients feel that they have a partner that is dedicated to their success. That is what we strive for here at Adestra with customer service being at the heart of that.

Compared to the other great finalists in the competition, we’ve only been in Australia for a short period of time.  Yet, within that time our team have worked incredibly hard at every level and department to provide the best solution in the business. After all, when our clients win, we do too.

This award is a testament to the entire Adestra team and I’m so proud.

Today’s ASEA comes hot on the heels of being recognised by UBM as Supplier of the Year, winning the Customer Focus award by the UK Institute of Customer Service (with five consecutive years of being shortlisted), as well as scoring the US Stevie Bronze for Customer Service all in 2016.
