At Adestra we take our position as a provider of a top-tier email platform seriously. We push ourselves to provide the security provisions that our clients would, and should expect from us, and wherever possible exceed this.

Alongside any new developments to the platform we will always place the security of our clients data as the highest priority. With that in mind, we have a number of features available to enhance the security of your email data and reduce the levels of risk as far as possible. These features give you:

Adestra security extras

Two Factor Authentication
This provides additional protection against unauthorised access to your MessageFocus account should login details be stolen or compromised. Our clients can add an extra layer of authentication to the login process by using a one-time passcode generated by a hardware token (key fob). This is entered at the same time as the account name, username and password and is specific to the individual user. Each passcode is valid for one login only and expires after 30 seconds giving you peace of mind that the risk of compromise has been lowered.

IP Address Restrictions
To protect your email data further, we can restrict access to MessageFocus to specific IP locations. This can be set per user allowing control over who has access to your data and where they access it from.

Data Download Permissions
MessageFocus is highly configurable to an individual user. This means we can remove the ability for certain or all users to download customer data from MessageFocus. The flexibility of the preferencing system means that these restrictions can be put in place to suit the requirements of complex account configurations as well as the more straight-forward ones.
