We were set the task of building a fully responsive newsletter email template with a strong brand identity that gives the user a seamless customer journey through to the Psychologies website. The client was keen to show a softer and more elegant touch than the website portrayed. The challenge was to offer a design which could incorporate some softer elements and pastel shades, without straying too far from the Psychologies brand.
By including content used on the Psychologies website such as their company logo, the navigation menu, and specific colors we ensured their brand identity remained a strong factor within the email. In order to provide that soft, elegant touch, we incorporated subtle grays and pale pinks, included a brush stroke background behind the CTA buttons, and used an italic serif-style font in places.
The result is a happy medium between creating a soft, elegant look and feel, whilst maintaining brand identity.
